LifeSpring Crisis Services
LifeSpring operates a Crisis Call Center 24/7 that is staffed with individuals who can assist in a crisis, including deploying our Mobile Crisis Team. The call center can be reached at 833-SAFE988 (833-723-3988).
LifeSpring’s Crisis Receiving Stabilization Services Program, located at our Turning Point Center in Jeffersonville, IN, provides a safe place for an individual in crisis who is not appropriate for the hospital or arrest. The CRSS Program serves as a 24 hour space for individuals in need of services to prevent an overdose, complete a needs assessment, and slow down the timeline of having to make an immediate decision that may not best meet the needs of the person in crisis. Following a stay at the CRSS Program, individuals will be connected with the appropriate level of care based on their needs.
How to Utilize the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Services:
- Contact the Crisis Call Center at 833-SAFE988.
- The mobile crisis team will respond to the scene if appropriate and provide transportation if needed.
- Once at the CRSS Program, an assessment will be done.
- As the individual approaches 24 hours at the CRSS Program, they will receive information about their next options for care and be connected with the appropriate service provider(s).
